Garden Exchange Scheme
Transition Town Aberystwyth is launching its Garden Exchange Scheme from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday 11th October in the Friends Meeting House, Maes Maelor, Penparcau. The idea of the Scheme is to bring together people who would like to grow vegetables but have no garden with those who have garden space but aren’t cultivating it for one reason or another.

Thanks Kelvin for posting this. Just to let people know there will be a panel of local experts there, happy to answer your questions on organic gardening, how to get best use of a polytunnel and how to make your garden wildlife friendly. There’ll be a competition with free seeds for each entrant, plus a grand prize, an edible seed-sprouting activity, the chance to find out about compost, free Fair Trade tea and coffee, and lots of chances to meet new green fingered friends!
